outlier.md keeps standard server logs of page requests: the page address, the time, your IP address, your browser's user agent and an approximate country. We use them only to count visits and find broken links.

Each page you view also sends a small request to our own server that records the page address and, when you arrived from a link on another site, that site's hostname; it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and it isn't sent if your browser has Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track turned on. Raw logs are deleted after 35 days; after that we keep only totals. The site loads no third-party analytics or advertising code.

If you would rather not be counted at all, open outlier.md/?no-count=1 once in each browser you use. That sets a single flag in your browser's local storage and nothing else.
